O2 has announced an annual price adjustment in line with the Retail Price Index (RPI) rate of inflation, which will affect the monthly prices of mobile plans from April 2024. Customers who joined before 8 February 2024 will see their plan prices increase from April 2024, while those who joined after that date will see increases from April 2025. The RPI rate was set at 4.9% on 14 February 2024. For plans starting before 25 March 2021, the tariff will adjust by the RPI rate. For example, a current mobile plan costing £10.00 will increase to £10.49, and a plan costing £30.00 will go up to £31.47. For plans starting on or after 25 March 2021, the Airtime Plan will increase by the RPI rate plus 3.9%, but the Device Plan will not change. Goods must be returned in unused condition and in the original packaging. An extended return period is offered for items bought as gifts between 2 November and 24 December, with returns accepted up until 8 January of the following year. As for the shipping policy, O2 sends a trackable label with a QR code, eliminating the need for customers to print it out themselves, ensuring a smooth return process.
